This webinar was the stepping stone for the webinar series “mentoring session” organised by IEEE SIGHT Bombay Section and other committees. The aim of this event was to make the participants aware of the opportunities and benefits that they can get through IEEE SIGHT. The keynote speaker for this event was: Dr. Shaikh Fattah Professor, Dept of EEE, BUET. He highlighted some of the projects successfully completed under IEEE SIGHT and how they impacted the locals in the region. Putting the technical knowledge to use in order to serve the society by succeeding in solving the problems faced by members of society is the true purpose of any project undertaken in SIGHT which was reflected in the words of Mr.Kulkarni. Followed by an interactive Q&A session, attendees got more clarity on how the projects should be planned to obtain optimum results and the webinar was concluded successfully.
