This session was dedicated to women in technology. With both our speakers from eminent organizations, the evening was packed with inspiration and motivation. Avantika Singh shared her experience in technology around women. The role she has played as a leader and as a woman in the field of technology. The attendees were awe-inspired by her strong words of being bold. She helped the attendees comprehend her journey as a young professional. On the other hand, Nirupama Kumar shared her share of ups and downs in the field of technology and IEEE. She helped understand how SIGHT is helping remove the gender biasing and how her journey began with SIGHT. Not only women, but both the speakers encouraged and engaged men in technology. The session was marked with a QnA session where a mix of personal experiences and technical queries were relayed. Nirupama Kumar even went as far as to explain to attendees about her ways of being an effective communicator. With Avantika Singh sharing her views of how everyone has a different style of working and how it is important for individuals to gel up. Having interacted with the audience and clearing their doubts about IEEE, a digital memento was presented to Ms.Nirupama Kumar and Ms.Avantika Singh as a token of appreciation which marked the end of this webinar.
