This session by Dr.Ramesh was the second webinar of the series Learn From Leaders. IEEE has a wide scope apart from SIGHT and hence we invited Dr.Ramesh, IEEE President-Elect Candidate, 2021, as the keynote speaker to share his priceless experience of almost 4 decades of being an integral part of IEEE. Having guided many Student and Young Professional Members of IEEE, he helped the audience understand the transition that takes place from being an IEEE Student Member to being an IEEE Young Professional Member, post graduation. He also helped us in understanding different committees that work under IEEE which share goals similar to IEEE SIGHT. In addition to this, Dr.Ramesh emphasised on how the Student and Young Professional members have an sea of opportunities and benefits available for them in IEEE and how they can utilise these to succeed in their career. Having interacted with the audience and clearing their doubts about IEEE, a digital memento was presented to Dr.Ramesh as a token of appreciation which marked the end of this webinar.
