This webinar was the stepping stone for the webinar series “Learn From Leaders” organised by IEEE SIGHT Bombay Section and other committees. The aim of this event was to make the participants aware of the opportunities and benefits that they can get through IEEE SIGHT. The keynote speaker for this event was Mr.Kartik Kulkarni, Chair of IEEE Humanitarian Activities Committee. In this event we got to learn about Dr.Chanakya Kumar’s valuable insights from his experience of being an IEEE SIGHT Volunteer. Mr.Kulkarni then continued with his session by sharing his personal experience of the leadership roles he served in and shed light to the real goals and aspects of SIGHT organisation. He also highlighted some of the projects successfully completed under IEEE SIGHT and how they impacted the locals in the region. Putting the technical knowledge to use in order to serve the society by succeeding in solving the problems faced by members of society is the true purpose of any project undertaken in SIGHT which was reflected in the words of Mr.Kulkarni. Followed by an interactive Q&A session, attendees got more clarity on how the projects should be planned to obtain optimum results and the webinar was concluded successfully.
