Abstract:

Mr Quentin Desouza will lecture about and demonstrate very sophisticated and versatile robot, with all facilities for programming and applications. It has 16 degrees of freedom with 16 servo motors which are very easy to control. This will provide some hands-on experience for application development.

About the speaker:

Mr. Quentin Desouza is a Bachelor of Engineering from the Bombay University. He started his business career in 1973 as a founding partner of Maqlab, a firm specializing in equipment for medical research. In 1982, he founded Techno Aids specializing in computer peripherals and photo typesetting equipment. In 1990 he founded Quantum Designs, the company that he presently heads. Quantum Designs custom-builds software solutions, web technology and e-commerce as well as designs and develops hardware and Embedded systems. Mr. Desouza is also currently a partner of QDnet Technologies.
