The Department of Electronics and E&TC has started an ‘IEEE Student Branch’ from the Academic Year 2013-2014. The IEEE student Branch was inaugurated at hands of Mr. Abhay Phansikar, Secretary IEEE Bombay Section along with Mr. Anand Gharpure, Webmaster & Executive Committee Member IEEE Bombay Section on 22nd August 2013. Dr. V.P.Wani, Principal IOE, Prof.R.B.Rehpade, HOD E&TC, Prof.D.B.Ahire, HoD Electronic and Prof.K.D.Mahajan, Branch Counselor were present during the same.
Mr. Anand Gharpure conducted presentation on ‘General Introduction & benefits of IEEE Student Branch’ and Mr. Abhay Phansikar introduced ‘Student Activities under IEEE Bombay section’. Mr. Abhay Phansikar also conducted a Seminar on ‘Building of Complex Solutions in Embedded Systems’ with more than 300 Students.
