About C-DAC Mumbai
Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is the premier R&D organization of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) for carrying out R&D in IT, Electronics and associated areas. C-DAC, Mumbai Centre (formerly National Centre for Software Technology) having its offices in Juhu (Mumbai) and Kharghar (Navi Mumbai), is involved in R&D activities in the area of Software Technology and related disciplines with a major role in the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) of the Govt. of India. Other Research Groups of this centre are Computer Networks and Internet Engineering, IT Systems and Solutions, Knowledge based Computer Systems, Educational Technology Unit, Open Source Software and Biometrics.
IPSAN Group (IP Storage Networking Group) under CNIE is working in the field of Storage Area Networking with the focus on Block level storage network solutions over IP. One of its product “C-DAC Revival 2000-Disaster Recovery Appliance” has been awarded Runner up for ‘New Technology Advancement” by NASSCOM Innovation Awards 2012.

About Workshop
This Workshop intends to provide a comprehensive overview of Storage Networking Technology and its applications for building an IPSAN and Disaster Recovery solutions for enterprise business. The workshop will include sessions/talks of well known speakers from e-governance division of Deity, SNIA India, IEEE, Industry professionals, C-DAC etc. Workshop will provide a hands-on sessions for practical knowledge on building a cost effective secured IPSAN for an enterprise business.
