Greetings from IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) Student Branch Chapter IIT Indore!

We are delighted to announce the upcoming One-day workshop on “Remote Sensing in Earth Observations (RSEO-23)” organized by the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) in collaboration with IEEE GRSS Student Branch Chapter IIT Indore and the Department of Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Space Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore. The workshop is scheduled to take place on October 09, 2023. The event will have a distinguished lecture by Dr. Paul Rosen, NASA-JPL on “The NASA-ISRO SAR Mission – The Final Stretch Toward a New Capability for Earth Science and Applications.”

Aim & Scope

The primary aim of the “Remote Sensing in Earth Observations (RSEO-23)” workshop is to provide a comprehensive platform for researchers, academicians, students, and professionals to converge and engage in discussions, learning, and knowledge exchange related to the latest advancements in remote sensing techniques, technologies, and applications for Earth observations. The workshop will encompass a wide array of topics, addressing both theoretical and practical aspects of remote sensing in the context of Earth observations. The workshop will also provide attendees with information about the NISAR: NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar mission that is going to be launched in early 2024.
