Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S)

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Microwave Theory and Techniques Society Chapter was officially inaugurated  on 12/10/2012. The Chief Guest was Dr Shiban Koul, Professor and Deputy Director (Strategy and Planning),  IIT Delhi and the Guest of Honour was Dr Ramesh Gupta, Vice President of Next-Generation satellite system planning at LightSquared (Reston, VA, USA).
The MTT-S works on “The Microwave Theory and Techniques Society focuses on the theory and applications of radio-frequency (HF, VHF/UHF, microwave, millimeter-wave and terahertz), guided-wave and wireless technologies, as they relate to nanostructures, devices, integrated circuits, multi-circuit assemblies, components, packages, transmission lines, sub-systems, and systems involving the generation, amplification, processing, modulation, control, transmission, reception, detection and demodulation, and effects of electromagnetic energy transport. It also includes the interaction & interface of microwave signals with digital & optical circuitry & interconnecting transmission media. Examples include optical waves in suitably confined structures, as well as the applications of acoustic, magnetic, & plasmonic waves to microwave systems.
The MTTS Chaptar is being chair by Dr. MV PitkeFor further information related to Bombay Section, please send the email to bombaysection@ieee.org More information on Computer Society can be found here. MTT-S Newsletter released for March 13
