IEEE  Innovative Idea Competition-2015  is an event of IEEE Bombay section for IEEE student members.

Objective of this event is to encourage the students to present technological based innovative idea with value proposition.

Students group not more than 3 students in one group, can submit implementable Innovative Idea which is based on Current Technology and has market significance with adequate value proposition. All submissions must be in English only. Submission of innovative Idea can be done by filling the form online on IEEE Bombay section website.

There will be mainly two tracks : 1. Hardware and 2. Software

The evaluation plan is as follows,

There will be three rounds of evaluation.

A team of experts will evaluate each proposal on the basis of following parameters,
Originality, Practical Feasibilty, Financial Feasibility and Market Siginificance.
Non immlementable, articulated, over budgeted idea will get rejected.

Selected innovative idea will be considered for Round-2.

Students group will present proposed innovative idea before the Selection pannel.

A team of experts will evaluate each group based on the following information.

Innovation, Value Proposition, Product Survey information and Market Significance.

Student Particiants will be awarded a certificate of participation.

Selected students group in each category (Hardware and Software) will be awarded cash prize.

First Prize       :  Rs 10,000/–

Second Prize  :  Rs   6,000/–

Third Prize     :  Rs   4,000/–

Prize winning Innovative idea will be pitched before industry representative to seek funding for prototype development. Students group will be required to present Implementation Plan, List of major Hardware and Software components,
