Dr. Sarika Chouhan

Dr. Sarika Chouhan is a Chief Academic Officer at Vidyalankar School of Information Technology in Mumbai. She is Ph.D in Computer Science, M.Phil in Computer Science, Masters in Computer Applications, and Masters of Science in Computer Science.She has nearly two decades of experience in teaching and specializes in computer programming and web technology. She is also greatly interested in the transformation of teaching-learning processes and implementation of suitable pedagogical strategies.She has publishedmany research papers related to latest IT technologies, and digitization in education at various national and international level conferences and journalsfor which she has also received best paper awards.


Dr. SarikaChouhan is a core team member of AICTE approved Faculty Development Program on Digital Transformation in Teaching-Learning Process offered by NPTEL Swayam platform by IIT-Bombay. She also serves as the Branch Counselor of IEEE-VSIT Student Branch; Advisor of WIE Affinity Group, IEEE-VSIT Student Branch; Coordinator, Center of Excellence(ATS); and Owner, IQAC Criteria VI at VSIT.She is also associated withrenowned organizations such as CII and BCCI. Previously, she has served as the Chairperson of Vigilance Squad Zone-E for University of Mumbai.She has been a resource person, a guest of honor, and a judge at several national and international events. She has been a paper reviewer for‘IEEE BSSC 2019’ and ‘International Multidisciplinary Conference VCMT 2019’. She was a judge at Bangladesh Section’s ‘Idea Contest to Mitigate Post-COVID Impact in Low and Middle-Income Countries’. She has also guided several students at doctoral, master’s and undergraduate level.


Dr. Sarika Chouhan is currently an Executive Committee member and the Chairperson of Student Activities Committee at IEEE Bombay Section. She was a panelist at Phoenix 1.0 organized by IEEE R10 SAC and IEEE Bombay Section SAC, and a Convener of IEEE Bombay Section First National Hackathon She was the winner of Business Plan Competition for Branch Counselors at IEEE Bombay Section Congress.Shehasrepresented IEEEBombay Section as a Delegate at All India Student Young Professional WIE Congress 2019 (AISYWC 2019).She was also the Convener of IEEE Bombay Section Mumbai Division Branch Counselor & Admin Committee Meet.

Mr. Jeet Dagha

Jeet Dagha has pursued Bachelor’s Engineering Degree in the field of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC), Mumbai. He was a member of SAKEC’s Student Council as General Coordinator in the year 2017-18

Jeet is currently working as a Software Developer in Larsen & Toubro Infotech (LTI) with specialization in the field of Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing/Data Analytics. He has received LTI Pat on the Back Award for outstanding performance, service and dedication in the year 2019.

Dr. Vivek Pandey

Mr. Vivek Pandey did his B.E. in Electronics and Power Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (erstwhile VRCE), Nagpur (1998) and M.B.A in Technology Management from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi (2007). He has over two decades of experience withPOWERGRID and POSOCO in power system operation, electricity market operation and regulatory affairs. He is currently responsible for Reliability coordination, Interface energy metering and Integration of Renewable Energy Sources at Western Regional Load Despatch Centre, Mumbai.Mr. Pandey has contributed significantly indevelopment of a common steady state model of the all India power system; development of power atlas of India; evolution of the approach for network transfer capability assessment and congestion management; implementation of Point of Connectiontransmission charge and loss sharing mechanism;synchronous interconnection of Northern Regional grid with Eastern regional grid;synchronous interconnection of Western Regional Grid with Southern Regional Grid; extensive utilization of Synchrophasors in real-time grid operation and post-dispatch analysis; harmonization of interchange energy scheduling procedures in regional grids in India etc. He has been associated with various multi-stakeholder committees/sub-groupsconstituted by the Ministry of Power / Forum of Regulators / Forum of Load Despatchersfor – Manpower certification and incentives for system operation and ring fencing of Load Despatch Centres;Optimization of hydro resources; Scheduling and settlement system at intrastate level (SAMAST), institutional capacity building of load despatch centres(CABIL) and intrastate ancillary system for balancing (SANTULAN).


He has co-authored and presented over 35papers and articles in ICPS/ NPSC / IEEE / CIGRE conferences. He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers, Distinguished Member of CIGRE and Senior member of IEEE.

Dr. Mohan Aware

Prof. Mohan V. Aware is working as a Professor in Electrical Engineering Department at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, NAGPUR (INDIA). He has 10 years of Industry experience prior to joining the academics. He joined academics in year 1991 and contribute in the development academics and research. He has guided 10 Nos. Ph D, 25 Nos. M. Tech. projects.  He has published more than 200 papers in Refereed Journals/ International conferences and contributed chapters in 3 books. His research interest includes Energy Storages applications in Renewable, Multi-phase Electrical Drives, and Fractional order controllers. He is a certified Energy Auditor and executed many consultancy projects in the area of Energy Conservation, Energy and PQ Audit. He has executed R and D projects worth of Rs. 100 Lakhs with reputed Indian research organization like, MHRD/SERB/BARC and also worked on a various research projects with the Industries. He is a recipient of “Academic Commonwealth Fellowship” for tenure of six months in LJMU, Liverpool, UK (2010-11).  He is also a visiting researcher to University of Qatar & T & M, Qatar. He has supervised and taught at summer school on “Smart Girds- Electricity Networks as the Backbone of a Carbon Neutral Society” under the Indo-German center for Sustainability (IGCS) at TU, Dresden, GERMANY in 2019.

Dr. Mohan Aware is the Senior Member of the IEEE and Fellow of Institute of Engineers (India), Fellow of IETE (INDIA) and Life member of ISTE (India). He is a recipient of “IETE-2016 Biman Behari Sen” award for his contribution to Industrial Application of Fractional Order PID controllers.
