MARI is established to spread the awareness of Amateur Radio activities amongst the students/professionals/citizens of India. They at MARI conduct awareness and training programs for the Amateur Station Operator License Examination on regular basis.

3. Amateurs talk to local friends over the radio waves using a hand-held trans-receiver, communicating digitally with packet radio to exchange personal messages or vital information in an emergency, talking to other hams anywhere in the world, or engaging in contests with other Radio Amateurs over the Airwaves

4. The participants are made aware about the applications and rules to participate as a member of Ham Radio Community.
